Jeron Williams
Jeron Williams is an American professional baseball player known for his exceptional speed and dynamic playmaking abilities. Born on September 29, 2000, in Archbold, Ohio, Williams has progressed from a standout collegiate athlete to a promising prospect within the Houston Astros organization. Williams began his collegiate baseball journey at Lincoln Trail College in Illinois before transferring to the University of Toledo. At Toledo, he had a standout junior season in 2023, starting all 55 games at shortstop. He led NCAA Division I with 49 stolen bases and 96 hits, while batting .403 with 14 home runs, 48 RBIs, and a .681 slugging percentage. The Houston Astros selected Williams in the 9th round (284th overall) of the 2023 MLB Draft. He began his professional career with the Fayetteville Woodpeckers and progressed through the Asheville Tourists before joining the Corpus Christi Hooks in May 2024
